CPR, in partnership with Disability Rights Connecticut (DRC), are working to transform Connecticut’s employment service for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The Washington Initiative for Supported Employment (WISE) conducted a review of Connecticut’s employment services for adults, and transition services for youth with IDD in the public-school transition planning process. Other experts reviewed individuals in sheltered and congregated employment.
Based upon the experts’ findings, CPR and DRCT are working with state officials to create a transformation plan for Connecticut’s employment service system.
