CPR is involved in reforms around school discipline in Massachusetts. CPR is an active participant in the Chapter 222 Coalition, chaired by Massachusetts Advocates for Children. The Coalition was the drafter and prime proponent of 2012 statutory reform of school suspensions and expulsions, known as Chapter 222. The Coalition actively monitors the implementation of Chapter 222 and advocates with the state Department of Education to enforce its provisions.
