CPR is co-hosting a Call-in Day for Money Follows the Person on Wednesday, March 6th. This week, a new version of the EMPOWER Care Act reauthorizing the Money Follows the Person (MFP) program for five years was introduced in the House (H.R. 1342) and Senate (S. 548). The bill also improves the program by reducing the number of days a person must spend in a nursing home or other institution to become eligible to transition — from 90 days to 60.
